Congratulatory Speeches |

I and my wife attended our granddaughter's college entrance ceremony instead of her busy parents.
At the ceremony, the dean and a few executives made congratulatory speeches, which were very stereotypical and conservative.
I saw some students falling asleep, and even I was wondering if these university people were really the management of a first-rate university. I found nothing at all in their speeches that surprised or intrigued students. While telling students to try something new without being afraid of failure, these people ended up being stereotypical in their speeches.
"I would never marry a university professor if I could be reincarnated," the elderly wife of a national university professor spat out to me when I was 25 years old. "He stays in his study all the time and hardly talks to me."
I understand that it is important for professors to study their fields of specialization. That is why they should talk about historical anecdotes or current issues related to their specialty that create interest among students.
Why not try writing interesting congratulatory speeches through organization-wide efforts and triple-checking them by members to make sure everything is correct and appropriate like we do in our report checks?
