Acceptable Failures |

Some of the Nobel Prize winners
said, "Many failures led to the
discovery." Failures in this
case may not be simple failures.
In our human society,
some failures are laughing
matters while others are
critical. I think that there
are the following three failure
types:
(1) Careless
mistakes such as Kana-to-Kanji
conversion errors (2)
Positive failures in challenging
work or research
(3) Negative failures that end
up padding profits or covering
up complaints
(1)
is mostly treated as a laughing
matter, and (2) is often
forgiven by related parties,
like "What is done is done. Just
let it go." Meanwhile, (3) is
criticized mercilessly.
If
you try nothing due to the fear
of failure, you will never make
any progress in your life. The
more positive failures you have,
the more human and attractive
you can be.
